OEM partners have the opportunity to differentiate and enhance their existing offerings by embedding Backbase technology within their products. It is true partnering, because OEM partners take Backbase to the next level through more features and functionality. Moreover, our OEM partner purpose is to enhance partners’ propositions by stretching up their technology and/or applications to, for example, the User Experience level.
More than 10 OEM partners already use Backbase products - such as Backbase CXP, UX toolkits like Launchpad and Digital Banking Services - to build a differentiated solution that it sells under their own company name and brand. This elevates their position to one that also meets needs of end users through an omni-channel user experience solution.
Backbase understands the attractiveness of OEM relationships. However, there are several factors we need to consider before taking the plunge. Open Banking Marketplace
The Open Banking Marketplace is the platform where 3rd parties can showcase their digital banking capabilities. Currently present are state-of-the-art digital banking apps for Money Movement, Personal Finance Management (PFM), and more. By using Backbase’s modular architecture, banks can easily mix and match services from multiple FinTech providers without worrying about vendor lock-in. Therefore, Backbase launched Open Banking Marketplace; Backbase believes banks and credit unions should have the freedom to innovate. It is the Open Banking Marketplace that showcases multiple innovative banking features that can be easily plugged into Backbase.

For example, by accessing required Learning Tracks to meet the Competence Criteria and access Terms & Conditions to complete the Agreement Criteria.
