Company Facts

Backbase has a long history of being at the forefront of innovative software development. It was founded in 2003 and was one of the first companies to develop an Ajax framework. Ajax technology laid the groundwork for the Rich Internet Applications that define how we now experience the web. In 2008, Backbase naturally progressed into portal development and has since become recognized as the leading customer experience platform with a strong focus on financial services by delivering its own digital banking solution.

The Backbase team is made up of more than 250 senior technology and usability professionals, with offices in Amsterdam, Atlanta, New York, London, and Singapore, and has an extensive, global partner ecosystem with 1,500+ skilled implementation professionals. The company is privately owned.
