UX Designer for Rich Internet Applications

JOB DESCRIPTION: Leading Ajax-based RIA Solution Company looking for exceptional and motivated individuals capable of designing easy-to-use User-interaction/interfaces for rich internet applications.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience with Web 2.0 capabilities & online communities
- Strong wireframing and layout skills, task flow analysis and creation, web Interaction models
- Working, hands on knowledge of CSS, DHTML & Javascript or Flash
- Must be able to balance technical, business, marketing needs with usability needs
- Good communication and personal skills, work and collaborative with other designers, developers and managers
- Strong verbal and written English language skills required, Spanish and Portuguese a plus
- Detail oriented, deliver quality work against set deadlines
- Knowledgeable of best practices, best of breed web-based interfaces
REQUIREMENTS:
- Define user experience for application and refine features
- Establish site conventions and standards.
- Create storyboards, workflows, mockups, prototypes, specifications that communicate the information and interaction design for visual design, content and technical development.
- Plan and conduct usability tests, evaluate results and provide recommendations for improvements
- Flexibility as demonstrated in ability to travel as required, to work from home, to work hours required to make the customer successful.
EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of practical experience in designing user-centric web-based interfaces. Degree in human-computer interaction (BS or MS in HCI desirable).
