Quality Czar Internship
Backbase - leader in the market for Ajax technology - is offering a Quality Czar Internship focusing on the usage and quality systems necessary to maintain an agile web development.
During your internship you will be able to explore the dynamic and complex world of user interface quality assurance. The main project will be co-defined while you are familiarize yourself and contribute to all the systems, protocols and technologies involved in visual testing.
You will be practicing agile methodology and learning how to translate theory to practice, sharpening your technical skills. You will be working in the Development headquarters of Backbase, located in Amsterdam, and learn to communicate in an international environment.
Requirements:
- Interest and basic understanding of web technologies
- Knowledge of multiple web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Netscape...
- Good with the mouse, keyboard and shortcuts
- Good command of the English language
- In a college or university working on a internship or graduation project
Additionally, a variety in front and/or back end technical skills in may be helpful depending on the details of the project. Knowledge, interest or experience in the following languages can be considered an advantage but are not required: Java, JSP, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and DHTML.
