Senior Ajax/UX Developer

Backbase - leader in the market for Ajax technology is looking for a Senior Ajax Solutions Developer to deliver amazing rich Internet applications that will be able to unify great user experience with rich functionality to an elegant backend solution using the standards based Backbase foundation.

The right candidate will have excellent development skills with a feel for user interaction and design with structured DHTML development skills and a passion for designing beautiful applications with a team of motivated and highly skilled developers.

Working with an agile process, your objective is to:

• Create beautiful next generation Web 2.0 applications
• Use open standards and good coding practices to enhance user experience in applications
• Communicate with the team and implement complex JS/CSS solutions
• Scope and help define new projects and deliverables
• Produce structured design information
• Safe-guard the quality of the deliverable

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to self organize and run a project from a technical perspective
• Eye for detail and graphic design
• Proven track record in developing software solutions and applications
• Knowledge and interest in W3C and other web standards
• Solid understanding of agile product development processes
• Ace in JavaScript, CSS, DHTML
• Expert in XPath, XSLT, and XML
• Good understanding of Object Oriented patterns
• Good technical writing skills
• Good communication skills
• Working experience with some of the following SQL, J2EE, JSP, ASP, PHP and an expert in at least one of them

The "Senior Ajax/UX Developer" is part of the Backbase R&D department and reports directly to the Development Manager.
