Marketing Programs/Lead Generation Manager
LOCATION: San Mateo, California
As the Marketing Programs/Lead Generation Manager working in our San Mateo, CA office, your primary mission will be to generate qualified leads for our customer engagement solution and Ajax technology products through demand creation, events, promotions, and other classical and online marketing vehicles. Your previous success in an enterprise marketing role supporting sales within the technology industry will allow you to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual lead projections as well as accurately track the performance of our lead generation programs. A proven capability for strategic marketing will be vital as you develop promotional campaigns and help with sales related messaging for collateral, sales tools and the website. A hands-on, can-do attitude combined with superior multi-tasking and organizational skills will allow you to drive a full pipeline of sales leads, at various stages in their life cycle. Job Responsibilities:
- Set planning goals, and success metrics for performance management Establishment of measurable response rates, conversion rates, and ROI for all marketing programs. Metrics will cover, but not be limited to: Promotions and communications Marketing campaigns Response rates, Cost per response Marketing campaigns (#) Marketing spend ($) Marketing spend/lead ($) Qualified leads (#) Promotions ROI ($) Baseline and Incremental sales ($)
- Manage and Measure all demand generation and lead management activity and data in the Salesforce.com system
- Facilitate the reporting and analysis of all marketing programs
- Develop and maintain detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics reports (marketing dashboard) for all demand generation and lead management programs
- Analyze the key components of each campaign, including lists, offers, messaging and creative and tracking all campaigns via marketing and sales automation tools
- Refine and develop business processes to increase lead conversion and cost per opportunity/booking
Job Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in Marketing/Business, or equivalent work experience
- Two plus years of lead generation/telemarketing experience with in a high-tech company
- Experience targeting C-level, VP, and Director-level contacts within Fortune 1000 companies
- Proven track-record developing, executing and managing successful demand generation and lead management programs with high-ROI
- Strong project management and planning skills, with ability to manage, prioritize, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Solid understanding of online marketing techniques, customer marketing and effective online and offline conversion methods
- Familiarization and experience using marketing tools like Salesforce.com, market2Lead, Omniture, or Eloqua
- Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills and experience, with responsibility, for driving/owning strategies and plans as well as measuring and reporting success
- A team player, effectively interacting with employees at all levels and across global regions
- Must be a self-starter with proven, solid attention to detail and consistent follow-up and follow-through capabilities
- Experience with both classical marketing (tradeshow and seminar set up) and online marketing (Google Ads, SEO, Webinars, and Web Analytics)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Participation in industry trade shows and corporate events
- Some travel required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
