For lightweight Ajax applications you can now implement event handlers for
events that occur in the HTML DOM space. So there is no need to have the
entire page parsed by the Backbase engine. You simple select a node with a
CSS selector and define event handlers for specific events.

Client-side data binding has been improved in several areas. For example,
it now supports hierarchical data structures, which have been used in the
new databound Tree and Menu widgets: those use the hierarchical structure.
