Our Ajax Consulting team offers the following services:

Ajax Scan

This is a short engagement designed to analyze customer relevant technical- and business requirements. A typical scan takes 3 to 5 days. The scan results in a brief document addressing key aspects such as architectural impact and suggestions for project initiation. Optionally the Ajax scan can be complemented with early front-end designs (interaction- and creative design).

Ajax & RIA Prototyping

Based on the outcome of the Ajax Scan, customers can determine, to build an early Ajax front-end prototype. A typical prototype will take 10 to 40 days, depending on the project scope. This engagement typically includes early interaction design, creative design and front-end engineering of prototype. The prototype can be complemented with technical proof of concepts to investigate technical requirements that need to be proven before the actual project starts. Lessons learned from the prototype will be applied in the real implementation project.

Ajax & RIA Implementation

In order to support you in implementing your Ajax projects, Backbase uses an agile project delivery methodology. Based on the results of the Ajax Scan, we recommend our customers to use best practices such as early-mockups, iterative design, continuous integration build and testing, and code reviews. Our goal is to minimize the risks associated to any IT project and to ensure that a quality product is delivered to our clients.

Architecture Audit

Similar to the Ajax scan, an architecture audit will take 3-5 days depending on the scale of the application and the technologies used. One of our Ajax experts will analyze your existing application architecture and will make recommendations on how to improve its design and performance. Architecture audits can also be used for application modernization where the customer is considering moving existing client server or legacy applications to the Web and wants to use Ajax to do so.
