We are very excited to be back from Geneva, where we attended Sibos 2016 – four intense days of workshops, conference and open theatre tracks, as well as meetings with our customer and prospects.

Our speaking slot on Day 1 featured Jouk Pleiter, Backbase’s CEO and co-founder, talking about ‘The Digital Transformation in Commercial Banking’. The open theatre proved to be too small for the attending audience, serving as confirmation that omni-channel is a topic more and more important for commercial banking.

Also, we signed a new partnership with The International Bank of Azerbaijan. The International Bank of Azerbaijan has partnered with Backbase to implement its omni-channel digital banking platform. With the platform, the bank will be able to provide its products and services to customers through multiple channels synchronously, creating a single multimodal touch point.

We are already looking forward to SIBOS 2017 in Toronto. Hope to meet you then and there!
