  • June 6, 2018

The Backbase team are delighted to welcome people to The 2018 Backbase Digital Banking Summit at Amsterdam’s Compagnietheater. Once again, we bring global industry leaders together to tackle the tough questions on digital transformations. A series of innovative expert-led sessions will explore cutting-edge customer experience technologies, and hands-on guidance will be given to optimize customer engagement and cut costs.

Jouk Pleiter, CEO of Backbase talks about ‘Banking 2025’. He outlines the banking industry of the future and looks at four crucial strategies for survival – modular, smart, open and omni-channel banking. Backbase’s Manuel Schreurs discusses the do’s and don’ts of digital transformation and later in the day, Backbase’s Jelmer de Jong brings it all together, with some clear guidance on shaping a digital banking platform.

After coffee and networking, we dive into the true stories, as Martyn Atkinson of Metro Bank shares their experience of building a leading challenger bank. Olivier Nosetti and Loic Marziou of Banque du Luxembourg then take the stage to share the surprising realities behind bringing Wealth Management into the digital era.

Yousif Almas of Bank ABC shares an unmissable story of how they achieved digital go-live in under four months, while Corner Banca talks about shifting the customer experience.

Attendees will also experience the latest digital trends and UX capabilities and get tangible direction on using technology to bring their transformation to the next stage.

Having gathered over 300 attendees and a huge number of registrations, this Summit already promises to be a resounding success. Based on the positive response to the event, we are already planning the next steps. The Backbase Summit is going global – watch out for the International Backbase Summit Roadshow!
