Senior HR Business Partner

We are currently looking for a Senior HR Business Partners to join our EMEA team, supporting the Customer Success, Product implementation department in the Netherlands, as well as help to set up new Backbase locations around the globe.
You will be based at the Amsterdam Headquarters and will work in close collaboration with the global HR and People team, consisting of HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Payroll, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition and Compensation & Benefits. What you'll do
As a HR Business Partner you will represent our Customer Success department and your role will be instrumental in ensuring its future success. As a Senior Business Partner, together with the leadership team, you will set and execute the people strategy, taking ownership of engagement, retention and our talent strategy.
Collaborating with a global HR team, you will be the owner of our strategic people programme. You will work closely with our HR Ops team, your business partner peers and our talent development and rewards teams to create an exceptional employee experience for our Netherlands employees.
You will have exceptional coaching skills, a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, together with an analytical approach and a solid grounding of HR knowledge. You will be able to translate data into human centric initiatives and create strong relationships with your leadership team, people managers and your HR colleagues.
At the senior end your past experience will encompass workforce planning, performance cycle calibrations and coaching, succession planning, engagement action planning, organizational design and development, delivering training and facilitating workshops, as well as dealing with employee relations topics, work regulation, work councils and labour law and visa topics.

Who you are
As HR Business Partner, you champion Backbase’s culture and values, and work together with our business leaders to help them build an inspiring and challenging work environment for our people.
You support and coach managers, you navigate and resolve employee relations issues and assist in implementing global HR policies/programs. You are contributing with a cross-functional group of subject matter experts to execute strategies for how we staff, onboard, develop, inspire, retain and organize work. Partnering with the business and your HR colleagues, you are first line support for managers in a broad range of HR topics.
You have 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner;
You have a thorough understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of the Human Resources discipline (performance management/feedback, talent reviews, succession planning, etc.);
You have experience in delivering trainings and/or facilitating workshops with an engaging presentation and interaction style;
Ideally a fluent Dutch speaker with business level English, written and verbal
You have a Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
