Drive the growth of our API Hub & Sandboxes helping developers all over the world to quickly and easily build out new products using Backbase tech, removing the friction they traditionally face so they can fully focus on re-architecting banking around the user.

What you'll do

Welcome to Backbase API Hub, a single place where teams in the company publish and share the APIs that they are building and allow others to easily discover and search through them. As the Product Owner, you’ll own not only the platform that hosts guides and resources to support technical development with our products, but also our Sandboxes. These include our API Portal, References and Security documentation,  Azure Cloud runtimes running Backbase Engagement Banking Platform API as well as various showcase Web Apps.

As Backbase grows, the complexity of our products increases exponentially. We need a centralized, digestible, clear, concise and developer driven platform to deliver the right information to the right people to fuel innovation in the enterprise.

So what can you expect from this adventure:

● Own a platform (developer.backbase.com) which hosts backend, frontend, iOS and Android content, Azure runtimes hosting multiple Sandboxes plus more;
● Manage what we create, for whom, why and in which priority and, make sure that products and features your squads create are presented in the most beneficial way;
● Conduct product demos, presentations and marketing collateral, you’re in charge;
● Manage your product capabilities through the complete product life cycle e.g. sitting with stakeholders to gather feedback to creating and launching prototypes;
● Work closely with designers, architects and engineers on timely delivery;
● Create a constant iteration and feedback loop with clients and users;
● Own a squad of cross-functional engineers with a Business Analyst and Scrum Master;

With your stakeholders and team, you’ll be working with modern technologies to create a centralized hub to share and collaborate on Backbase APIs, reducing the time to market of new products, and with them, new revenue streams. You’ll also be helping define the best practices for all developers creating services with Backbase API Sandbox and continue developing backbase.io ‘s Developer Hub, our one stop shop for ALL things Backbase.
