As a Solutions Engineer within the Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering team, your primary objective is to shape the prospective end-state solution using Backbase software. But what does that entail? It's a blend of education, architecture, and advocacy. You'll be backed by a robust global team of specialists while becoming an expert in your own domain. We anticipate your comprehensive familiarity with our solution and your ability to empower our prospects and customers for triumphant outcomes.
What you'll do
You’ll be an integral member of the Solutions Engineering team (within Sales), where your role is developed through exceptional performance. Balancing technical intricacies and conversing about overarching business goals, you adeptly transform requirements into distinct architectural designs. We’ll nurture your skills in areas such as qualification, value demonstration, responding to RFPs, and conducting on-site presentations.

● Your drive and positive attitude are of more importance than many years of experience;

● You have the courage to learn and to share your learning process with us;
● You’re not afraid of learning and explaining technologies such as Java, Spring, Angular, iOS, Android, and Kubernetes;
● You don’t mind discovering the world by traveling around 30% of your time;
● You have a demonstrable understanding of modern architectural patterns such as containerization, microservices, API gateways, etc;
● You have created solutions for financial services (especially banking);
● Last but not least, you have excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
