As a Content Marketing Specialist you are instrumental in creating and publishing content that engages with our international target audience and/or generates website traffic and new leads.The ability to reinforce the Backbase brand is key for this position. You are the voice and the visualization of all of Backbase stories. You are instrumental in creating and publishing stories and content that engages with our international target audiences. You own the web copy experience from a content and SEO perspective. You oversee and coordinate all copy and content creation for a specific domain or campaign.
What you'll do
PPC Campaign Management
● Develop, implement, and optimize Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising campaigns tailored to the European market.
● Perform keyword research, ad copy creation, and landing page optimization.
● Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to meet KPIs and ROI goals.
● Design and execute marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and engage with customers.
● Segment the European audience for personalized communication.
● Measure and improve the effectiveness of marketing automation campaigns.
● Create and manage newsletters and email blasts for the European market.
● Develop engaging email content, A/B test campaigns, and ensure deliverability and engagement.
● Maintain email marketing best practices and compliance with GDPR regulations.
● Define and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for the European market.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to align digital efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
● Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative strategies.
Analytics and Reporting
● Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
● Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
● Report on key performance metrics to demonstrate the impact of digital marketing efforts.
Who you are
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
● Proven experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on PPC campaign management, marketing automation, and email marketing.
● Expertise in PPC advertising platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.).
● Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and email marketing platforms.
● Strong knowledge of GDPR regulations and data privacy best practices.
● Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies.
● Analytical skills to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
● Fluent in English, and knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
● Familiarity with European market dynamics and cultural nuances.
