BCV digitizes its personalized investment advice for private clients

Discover how the Swiss bank BCV meets wealth clients’ needs with its digital advice offering BCV Conseil Plus – built on the customizable Backbase Digital Engagement platform.

As one of the historic ‘cantonal banks’ of Switzerland, BCV in Lausanne attracts private banking clients with assets of CHF 250,000 ($ 270,00) or more – who seek to benefit from the experience of its relationship managers and more than 150 years of investment know-how.

Keeping the changing needs of their clients’ in mind, the bank recently made the decision to launch a new digital advice channel – designed to complement the service provided by its relationship managers. The bank recognized that it needed a best-in-class solution which could be customized to provide value-added features, on top of the services typically found on a private client platform.

BCV found the customizable solution it was looking for in the Backbase Digital Engagement platform, which allowed BCV to specify and create a product that meets its wealth customers’ needs, in the customizable way it envisaged.

After just seven months’ of development time, the new digital advice channel launched under the brand name BCV Conseil Plus.

If we wanted to customize Backbase and develop new features, we could do it – because of its simplicity we were able to train developers quickly.
