  • December 6, 2016

The Banking Technology Awards, now in their 17th year, shine a spotlight on the industry’s most innovative companies and recognise innovation and excellence across the board.

Gathering together over 260 representatives from some of the industry’s most influential companies, the Awards look to recognise and reward excellence and innovation in the use of IT in financial services worldwide. The Reader’s Choice Awards are an integral part of the Awards night, giving a voice to the readers and vendors themselves.

Backbase’s win amongst the Reader’s Choice categories demonstrates the Platforms’ expertise in customer-centric design, and speaks to the seamless digital experience the technology delivers for users across multiple devices and customer touch points.

Jouk Pleiter, CEO of Backbase commented : “It is a great honor to be recognised as the ‘Best Digital Banking System’ at the Banking Technology Awards, especially considering that the vote was cast by readers and peers. We have kept our focus on delivering the best in customer-centric design, and strive to continue innovating our Omni-Channel technology with this vision in mind.”
