Backbase hires interactive media veteran Bart Termorshuizen

  • July 5, 2011

Backbase, the leader in Bank 2.0 portal solutions, has hired Bart Termorshuizen to head its Client Services team. Termorshuizen joins Backbase from QNH Interactive where he was founder and managing director. Prior to that he served as managing director at the global marketing and communications firm PPGH/JWT Engage and in a similar role at Dutch firm Clockwork.

“We are pleased to welcome Bart to the team. His many talents in the interactive media business are being put to good use at Backbase and will help us continue to drive innovation and work to meet customer’s needs,” said Jouk Pleiter, Backbase CEO.

Termorshuizen said of the appointment: “I am very excited to be joining Backbase and to work with so many talented people. Backbase has truly innovative technology and I welcome the chance to help clients to create superior customer experiences with Bank 2.0.”

Backbase’s Bank 2.0 Portal is a newly-developed customer experience platform that helps companies to compose truly customer-centric dialogues, and enables them to combine content, data and functionality from different underlying systems within a fresher, more user-centric, presentation. It empowers financials to manage, and optimize, their online customer interactions with less IT support, which means faster time to market.
