What you'll do

Financial institutions recognize that superior customer experience and seamless digital interactions are essential in today’s market. Your role is to challenge these organizations to think beyond conventional solutions and embrace the value Backbase delivers.

  • Engage with prospective clients, guiding them from initial interest to becoming long-term, satisfied customers.
  • Present Backbase’s digital solutions to financial institutions within your region.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and align Backbase’s solutions to meet their needs.
  • Work alongside an experienced sales team that will mentor and support your growth into an elite sales professional.

Who you are

  • Proactive and self-motivated. You take initiative and drive results independently.
  • Experienced in enterprise software sales. You have 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within the software/technology sector.
  • Fintech or banking background? Even better. Experience in the financial services industry is a huge plus.
  • Strategic thinker. You understand the banking technology ecosystem and the business drivers behind digital transformation.
  • Confident communicator. You’re comfortable leading discussions with C-level executives and can clearly articulate how Backbase adds value.
  • Digitally fluent. You grasp the impact of digital business solutions and can translate technical concepts into business benefits.
  • Continuous learner. You stay ahead of industry trends and market developments.
  • Skilled presenter. You can engage and educate an audience with ease.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in software/technology business development.
  • Strong understanding of financial services and/or fintech is a major advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
