VP of Engineering
We’re looking for an engineering leader to help us radically improve developer experience, release pipelines, and SDLC efficiency.
You’ll look after Developer Enablement (~40 FTE) and our central QA team, you’ll start systematically addressing root causes to create efficiencies and resetting the test and release strategies.
You’ll have an ownership mindset, strong interest in driving AI in our SDLC and efficiency, and rapidly identify, clarify and address items that are currently causing significant waste and confusion related to integration, environments, CI/CD, test and release.
This role will be pivotal in transforming how we ship, test, and deliver value at scale.
What you'll do
- Lead Developer Enablement and Central QA
- Full operational ownership of non-prod environments, test data tooling, quality strategy, release pipelines
- Rapidly baseline key SDLC metrics
- Launch real CI/CD pilots and reset our test/release strategies
- Eliminate tooling and process waste; drive clarity and simplicity
- Produce a restructuring plan (including potential RIFs)
- Lay the foundation for AI-first SDLC and initiate pilot programs
- Build and scale the Engineering Operations org
- Own CI/CD pipelines, test/release processes, and non-prod environments
- Drive DORA metrics, enforce test taxonomy, and quality standards
- Leverage AI to create material efficiencies in the SDLC
- Hire, lead, and mentor a cross-border team (Poland hub)
- Partner with CTO Office on architecture and productivity initiatives
Who you are
- 15+ years of engineering leadership (VP/CTO level preferred)
- Proven success leading CI/CD or Developer Experience turnarounds in large-scale orgs (200+ engineers)
- Deep experience in test and release management, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and test-data tooling
- You’ve executed restructurings and built globally distributed teams
- You’re hands-on enough to understand the details but strategic enough to drive change
- You can simplify complexity, identify root causes, and create calm from chaos
- You’re excited about AI-first engineering, and ready to embed it into SDLC practices
