We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Video Content Creator to bring our brand stories to life across digital channels. Sitting within the Global Product Marketing team, you’ll work on thought leadership and customer marketing programs — bringing to life our Banking Reinvented podcast, customer testimonials, webinars, and more. From short-form social snippets to fully produced long-form content, you’ll create compelling videos that capture attention, deepen engagement, and bring our content game to the next level.
This role blends creativity and craft. You’ll be responsible for the entire video production lifecycle — concepting, scripting, recording, editing, and final delivery — tailored to platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Spotify.
What you'll do
End-to-End Video Creation
- Own the planning, recording, and editing of both long-form and short-form video content
- Produce assets such as:
- Banking Reinvented podcast videos
- Webinars and virtual event recordings
- Customer interviews and testimonials
- Short-form clips, teaser reels, and social-ready content
- Internal brand or product videos
Content Innovation & Strategy
- Collaborate with the Content and Brand teams to define the next generation of video storytelling for Backbase
- Bring fresh ideas to the table — formats, hooks, intros, and visual styles that resonate with a B2B tech audience
- Tailor content to the viewing behaviors of different platforms (e.g., subtitles, aspect ratios, intros, captions)
Collaboration & Workflow
- Work closely with podcast hosts, marketers, speakers, and customers to record and post-produce sessions
- Collaborate across teams — including Brand, Field Marketing, and Product Marketing — to deliver aligned and impactful video content
- Partner with external stakeholders such as agencies, guest speakers, and production vendors to ensure professional output
- Help build and maintain a consistent visual identity across all video content
- Manage files, assets, and versioning for internal approvals and external delivery
Quality & Distribution Support
- Ensure crisp editing, strong audio, clean visuals, and platform-fit formats
- Support content rollout with thumbnails, social cuts, and variations
- Stay on top of video trends, formats, and technologies to keep content modern and effective
Who you are
- 2–3 years of experience in video content creation, preferably for a B2B or tech audience;
- Solid skills in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve);
- Basic motion graphics knowledge (e.g., After Effects or similar);
- Familiarity with setting up and operating camera/audio equipment;
- Understanding of social video best practices (e.g., hooks, subtitles, pacing, formats);
- Portfolio that demonstrates both long-form and short-form editing ability;
- Strong communication and organizational skills;
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- Audio editing experience (e.g., for podcasts or voiceovers;
- Experience in live stream or webinar production;
- Experience working with external vendors or agencies.
