We’re looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist who brings a passion for seamless employee experiences, thrives on process excellence, and gets excited about the power of systems, data, and emerging technology—especially AI—to transform the People function. This role combines hands-on operational work with strategic initiatives to enhance how we work, support our people, and scale our impact.
What you'll do
You’ll be part of a global People team. While a portion of your time will focus on traditional People Ops responsibilities—handling day-to-day employee queries and ensuring operational excellence—you’ll also take ownership of key strategic capabilities in our function:
🌍 Global People Operations
- Manage and continuously improve core employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, transitions, etc.).
- Serve as a go-to resource for employees and managers, offering timely, clear, and friendly support.
- Maintain compliance and data accuracy across systems and documentation.
🧠 Systems & Integrations Leadership
- Co-own and optimize our HRIS (currently BambooHR), ensuring smooth integrations with other platforms (Greenhouse, Deel, Ledgy, Leapsome etc.).
- Translate operational needs into system improvements by working closely with stakeholders and vendors.
- Understand and advise on system connections, data flows, and architecture at a high level—you're the bridge between People Ops and Tech.
- Identify and solve system-related pain points through smart configuration and thoughtful design.
🤖 AI & Automation Champion
- Bring AI and automation into the heart of People Ops by piloting tools, training the team, and driving adoption.
- Lead or support initiatives to streamline manual processes using AI (e.g. chatbots, generative documentation, automated workflows).
- Stay up-to-date on trends and help us explore how AI can improve employee experience, data analysis, and service delivery.
Who you are
- Global HR Experience: You have experience managing employee lifecycle processes (hiring, onboarding, offboarding, etc.) in an international environment.
- You have a deep understanding of People systems, with an ability to conceptualize and implement integrations or automations (prior experience with supporting a new HRIS implementation, APIs and data security best practices is a strong plus).
- Cross-Functional Process Design: You’ve worked with multiple People functions (e.g. Recruitment, People Development, Compensation & Benefits) or was involved in projects involving multiple functions. You have successfully helped shape or implement end-to-end processes that span several systems or teams.
- Tech-Savvy Mindset: You have advanced experience with Google Sheets (formulas, interdependencies, automations) and a strong working knowledge of the broader Google Workspace suite.
- Process Automation & Innovation: You're skilled at identifying opportunities for automation within HR workflows and have implemented automated solutions that increase efficiency and accuracy—ideally across departments.
- Passion for efficiency and problem-solving—you see a clunky process and can’t help but fix it.
- AI Fluency: You have a solid understanding of AI technologies and practical experience integrating AI into HR processes to drive smarter, faster decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics simply and build relationships across cultures and time zones.
- Ownership mindset and proactive energy—you don’t wait to be told what’s broken; you find and fix it.
