Our Kraków office is a vital center for innovation, directly supporting the digital transformation of some of the world’s largest banks and financial institutions with our cutting-edge AI-powered banking platform. By connecting us with the best talent, you'll play a key role in expanding our team and building a dynamic, thriving hub that's central to Backbase’s global success.

Your primary focus will be sourcing for our Product Development teams and you’ll get to be a key part of our Backbase vision — to create the banks that people love! Technical recruitment is no easy task. We know that. That’s why we’re looking for someone who can identify top talent and own the candidate experience at the same time. One of our key focuses is to continue to create a culture which allows for the best hiring decisions, particularly with new hiring stakeholders.

In this adventure you’ll often find yourself:

  • Working closely with our engineering and product teams advising them on best hiring practices;
  • Sourcing, interviewing and hiring some of the most unique talent out there;
  • Running interesting projects that can make, team, regional and global impact;
  • Researching and digging deep into your hiring domain (Backend, Mobile, AI, Security, etc.) to identify the right candidates;
  • Working closely with recruitment coordinators on talent mapping and optimizing your reach outs;
  • Testing new AI tools to accelerate and improve our candidate experience.
  • Working in an international team and sharing your knowledge in our weekly syncs;
  • Ensure D&I advocacy throughout the hiring process often bringing in initiatives to enhance it;

To hit the ground running at Backbase, we think you’ll need:

  • 4+ years of recruitment experience either in-house or agency;
  • A background working in fast growing tech companies as a key advisor and stakeholder for hiring;
  • To be a subject matter expert in at least one technical hiring domain;
  • A track record of sourcing candidates via mainstream and unique channels;
  • A passion for putting the candidate experience first and owning the entire process from end to end;
  • Clear and concise communication skills for working with many stakeholders from multiple different disciplines;
  • A love for initiating and driving special projects to elevate the recruiting process and implement creative methods to find top tier candidates;
  • The strong belief that work life balance is the key to success.
