Senior Accounting Officer
Hyderabad - Finance
As a Senior Accounting Officer - Billing you are responsibilities include manage end-to-end billing, support collections, and dispute resolution, partner with sales & finance to optimize O2C processes, analyze customer payment behavior and suggest improvements and support automation and efficiency in O2C operations (including new joiners training support and OTC documentation update)
What you'll do
- Manage the entire billing lifecycle, including generating and updating invoices, creating manual invoices as needed, and uploading them to customer portals in a timely manner.
- Lead project creation in NetSuite, manage the synchronization of quote/opportunity data between Salesforce and NetSuite, and support related automation efforts.
- Ensure data integrity within NetSuite customer profiles and understand the operational impact on billing and revenue.
- Maintain the billing team's SLA’s, ticketing system (JIRA) and Accounts Receivable (AR) inbox.
- Review active sales orders and projects, and upload all necessary contracts (POF/SOW).
- Conduct reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Resolve complex billing issues and ensure the department's systems meet business needs and that all data handling complies with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate billing audit and compliance activities.
- Draft and distribute weekly reports on invoicing and billing metrics.
- Keep billing related external documentation and internal desktop procedures up to date
- Lead automation and process improvement projects within finance and cross functional
Who you are
- 5+ years of relevant job experience
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (Masters preferred)
- Excellent domain of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- SaaS Experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Tax specifics: experience with sales tax and international taxes including WHT
- Revenue specifics: a good understanding of R2R processes, revenue recognition
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
- Affinity for AI and emerging technologies
