Bootcamp Lead

Take the lead in our cutting-edge Bootcamp program, with responsibility for the definition and delivery of the content roadmap (new and updated content), ownership and execution of the program (relationship management, course scheduling and delivery), day to day management and support of the Bootcamp Delivery Team (mentoring, guidance, Train the Trainer), co-ordination with CS Delivery and Academy teams. Last and by no means least you’ll also travel the world delivering the Bootcamp itself.

What you'll do

You will be part of the team that helps Backbase employees, partners, and customers learn to implement Backbase banking solutions, building their knowledge, skills and hands-on experience. We are a team that values collaboration, trust, authenticity, curiosity, and craftsmanship.
●Lead the charge on all things Bootcamp for partners, customers and employees, as well as internal stakeholders;
Be the lynchpin of the program, organizing, co-ordinating and delivering the program;
●Lead Bootcamp and lead sessions in your area of expertise, working with the Associate Lead Trainer:
●Presenting the bootcamp to attendees and stakeholders;
●Facilitating scrum ceremonies during the bootcamp;
●Tracking the progress of participants and the overall program;
●Removing technical and non-technical roadblocks for participants;
●Managing customer and partner expectations;
●Proficient in backend, web, mobile, QA, and architecture basics (valuable complement to Associate Lead’s expertise);.
●Coach and lead other members of the Bootcamp Team on: Bootcamp content; Backbase technology, product and Way of Working; as well as training skills;.
●Responsible for consistency and standards in training content, delivery and output from the sessions;
●Responsible for a reliable cadence of delivering the Bootcamp (at least one per month at partner sites, as well as at least two top-up sessions at Backbase offices);
●Own the definition and drive execution of the roadmap for new content, update and maintenance of the Bootcamp;
●Ensure all Bootcamps, attendees and results are tracked and reported in the Academy Learning Management System;
●Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders on feedback from the Bootcamps and next steps.

The subject matter:
●Experience of long-form developer classroom training or Bootcamps; train the trainer, and content update and maintenance;
●At least 2 years’ experience in Backbase projects, including product, technology and Backbase Way of Working;
●Direct experience and expertise in at least one of the following Backbase project roles: Frontend, Backend, iOS, Android, Solution Architect, Business Analyst, Quality Assurance;
●Familiar enough with all roles that you can coach people new to them;
●Able to deliver 2 weeks (10 days) of classroom training;
●Capable of clarifying and managing a group towards a complex goal in limited time;
●Keen eye for individual strengths and weaknesses, and an ability to prioritize the right help at the right time to move both individual learners and the whole team forward;
●Able to deliver constructive feedback and recommendations during and after the Bootcamp;
●Familiar with Backbase.io material including learning plans, documentation, articles, how-to’s, etc;
●Fast learner, representative, high-energy, self-starter;
●Experience coaching and mentoring new developers.
