What you'll do

As a Senior Content Marketing Specialist, you are the embodiment of the Backbase brand, you are the voice and the visualization of all of Backbase stories. This role is ideal for a content marketing maestro who thrives on crafting compelling narratives that engage, educate, and convert our target audience. The ability to reinforce the Backbase brand is key for this position. You know our audience and translate our product propositions into creative and compelling value that spikes an interest. You will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that supports and amplifies our overall marketing goals, driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement across the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
● Integrated campaign strategy development;
● Owns and leads the campaign development and execution;
● Develop personas and optimize the customer journey;
● Create an integrated campaign strategy for the Top, Middle, and Bottom of the Funnel;
● Account Based Marketing;
● Lead the global ABM initiatives for a specific GTM;
● Liaise with regional marketing leaders on the design of your campaign roadmap and ensure the adoption of the campaigns in region;
● Liaise with regional sales teams to tailor campaigns;

Data and performance management:
● Report and optimize campaign performance using Salesforce.com;
● Set up funnel metrics and E2E campaign tracking (in collaboration with the growth team);
● Leverage data to gather strategic insights and report results on all marketing campaigns;
● Drive sales growth by setting goals and partnering closely with various activation channels;

Content Marketing and Thought Leadership:
● Obtains market and customer feedback and insights to improve content marketing strategy;
● Able to grasp complex, technical subjects and make them easy to understand
Knowledgeable on SEO best practices;
● Create compelling content and well-designed assets in cooperation with Studio or external agencies.

● Design and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and marketing goals.
● Deep knowledge of the digital banking space and personas we target.
● Produce high-quality, engaging content for a variety of channels, including our website, blog, email campaigns, social media, and digital advertising.
● Collaborate with the product, sales, and marketing teams to create compelling content that clearly communicates our value proposition and differentiates our brand in the market.
● Manage the content calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of fresh and relevant content across all platforms.
● Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to optimize our content strategy for better engagement and conversion.
● Lead SEO/SEM content strategies to improve organic search visibility and traffic.
● Stay up-to-date with content marketing trends, best practices, and technologies to continually enhance our content marketing efforts.
● Rich experience in content promotion, reach-building, syndication, and repurposing
● Conduct market research to identify the needs of banks across the Backbase product segments
● Business, product, and industry knowledge
● Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build and maintain a more effective editorial calendar and written guidelines
● Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with a passion for digital marketing.
● Knowledge of the financial services or digital banking industry is a plus.
