Senior Service Manager

In this role, you will manage multiple complex services and be a bridge between Backbase internal teams and our clients. You will stand in front of our new service and become one of the crucial delivery managers.

What you'll do

As a Service Manager, you are responsible for the successful delivery of pre-configured dev environments with deployed components of our products and supporting projects post go-live phase. 

You discuss requirements and expected delivery timelines with our Customer Success team, possible issues with external teams, and manage client’s expectations. You conduct kick-off and handover meetings, weekly plannings, daily standups (Kanban methodology), retrospection meetings, and communicate the status and progress of deployments.  

You also handle escalations and conflicts, define priorities, and assign tasks to team members. On a daily basis you will be working closely with the Engineering Manager who is responsible for the people management part and shape of the team assigned to you (6 people).

You are responsible for the financial aspect of the service, by making sure the team as well as the service is billable to HUB and to the customer.

Who you are

●You have experience being a client-facing Service Manager in Software Engineering;
●You have basic knowledge of cloud computing, CI/CD, and quality assurance processes in software development;
●You have great leadership skills, ready to be acting as a Team Lead;
●You can resolve conflicts and manage priorities;
●You have extraordinary organizational skills, you are assertive and self-confident;
●You have can do attitude, and you are fast in decision making.
