As a Senior Accounting Officer - Billing you are responsibilities include working with customers to reconcile billing issues, working with the accounting department to ensure all accounts are up to date, and helping with training new employees in the billing department.
What you'll do
● Responsible for updating any billing errors as they occur before invoice submission.
● Support auto-renewal billing process, payment, and related data entry.
● Maintenance of billing team ticketing system and AR inbox.
● Generate invoices as per the billing schedule on a timely basis.
● Create Manual invoice as required.
● Uploading of invoices to portals.
● Manage the sync of quote/opportunity information between Salesforce and NetSuite. Automation support.
● Review active Sales orders and upload contract (POF).
● Review active projects and upload contracts (SOW).
● Lead the project creation in Netsuite.
● Ensure data integrity within NetSuite [customer profile] and understand the operational impact on billing and revenue
● Support in posting of external customer cash receipts and monthly reconciliation of customer cash receipts
● Coordinate billing audit and compliance activities.
● Responsible for the resolution of complex billing matters; ensuring the department's IT systems are sufficient to meet current and future business needs and that all submissions and handling of data are performed in accordance with all applicable regulations.
● Draft and distribute weekly reporting of invoicing and billing metrics
● Assist in analyzing and reconciling customer accounts
Who you are
● 5+ years of relevant job experience
● Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (Masters preferred)
● Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
● Excellent domain of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
● SaaS Experience
● ACA/CPA/ Big-4
● Solid knowledge of IFRS.
● Excellent customer service skills
● Experience with Payroll
● Fluent in English (spoken and written)
● Tax specifics: good experience with Dutch corporate income tax, VAT, and international taxes including WHT
● Revenue specifics: 7+ years of relevant job experience, SaaS, Big 4, ACA, CPA or Master’s degree in accounting or accounting-related field, a good understanding of R2R processes, revenue recognition.
