What you'll do
Join our pre-Sales Solutions Engineering team and champion the success of our banking customers. You'll be their trusted advisor, problem-solver, and visionary crafting innovative Backbase solutions and demos that solve their toughest challenges and fuel their growth.

Client Focus
Being a technical subject matter expert is only part of this role; it's an opportunity to work directly with customers and understand their business deeply, build meaningful relationships, craft winning solutions, and lead the commercial engine of Backbase.
Impactful Solutions
Design, demo, and present market-changing solutions that solve real problems in banking. At the same time, your solutions will ultimately empower people around the world to reach financial security by putting powerful tools [literally] in the palm of their hands.

Partner closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) and clients throughout the journey, fostering trust and open communication. Global Reach
We work with diverse teams and clients around the world and seek to make a global impact. One week you may be presenting to a customer in the US, and another week collaborating with our teams in Europe or Asia.
Whether you talk to the board of directors, the marketing team or the IT department, you turn every red light green. You love to travel and stay abroad. We work on a global scale, so if you don’t already own a platinum flying card, you will within a year.
You will join prospects in their exploration of Backbase products. As an all-round product expert, you navigate through the full sales cycle, from doing technology deep dives and leading proof of concepts, to leading workshops and generating feedback. Your performance blows each prospect of its feet. And we do need a little extra more.
When we mention a getting-things-done mentality, you immediately recognize yourself. Not only do you feel comfortable talking business, you’re also a congenial companion during coffee breaks. And let’s not forget your organizing skills. Those skills, by the way, also come in handy when planning leisure time, because if we send you to the other end of the world and overload you with work, we do understand that you might want to loosen up afterward and explore the surroundings.
You will join a highly motivated global team with like-minded people that are spread across the globe. Currently our team is spread across Amsterdam, London, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Toronto, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.
Who you are
Do you possess high technical aptitude combined with a passion for serving others? Do you thrive while working with customer-facing teams to win business?
In addition, we believe you will need the following attributes to be successful at Backbase;
A deep curiosity for client needs and a desire to make measurable, lasting impact.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with clients.
Proven knowledge and understanding of modern enterprise software architectures, mobile & web technologies (Java, Spring, Angular, iOS, Android, Kubernetes).
Entrepreneurial energy to think, create, build and improve! You have a passion for learning, growing, and sharing your knowledge to empower clients and colleagues.
Skill of a craftsman and attention to detail to delivery superior technology solutions.
Experience in financial services is preferred (especially banking).
Ideally you are able to work from our Atlanta hub in a flexible (hybrid), friendly work environment.
