Backbase among leaders in Gartner's MarketScope for User Experience Platforms

  • February 5, 2014

Backbase, creator of the Backbase Customer Experience Platform, has revealed that the Gartner MarketScope for User Experience Platforms lists Backbase as leading frontrunner in the UXP market.

Gartner recommends IT leaders look at user experience platforms for their web and mobile projects: “As they develop web, portal, and mobile strategies, IT leaders should consider offerings from the emerging UXP market. UXPs supply consistent, high-fidelity user experiences across a breadth of services, and the sites and apps created by a UXP can be deployed across multiple channels and devices.”

According the the report, “Backbase has a strong, compelling vision of a UXP, with good integration between its WCM, website optimization tools, and powerful compositing features.” Gartner also names the strong support for mobile development and Backbase’s excellent track record in financial services as key strengths.

“We are very happy Gartner gives another strong validation of our vision for a well integrated and lean user experience platform,” said Jouk Pleiter, Backbase’s CEO & Co-Founder. “The positive rating from Gartner confirms our position in the emerging UXP market, and encourages us to continue to push for customer-centric innovation and challenge to the traditional legacy IT vendors.”
