Why this roundtable

Most banks have AI ambition and a pilot or two to show for it, and the open question is how an agent acts on a customer's request inside a bank with the controls the bank requires. Backbase helps banks build the trusted digital foundation and extend it into agentic banking that turns customer and employee intent into governed action.

We bring that view to the table through the AI-Native Banking OS, which combines Digital Banking and Agentic Banking so banks can move from digital interaction to governed resolution. The Banking OS owns the outcome while the model contributes intelligence, with control built into the runtime and the bank setting the autonomy level. The roundtable gives leaders a place to test that thinking with peers who carry the same decisions.

  • Moving AI from pilot to governed production
  • Turning customer and employee intent into governed action
  • Moving from digital interaction to governed resolution
  • Building control into the runtime, with the bank setting the autonomy level
  • Conversational Banking, Relationship Intelligence and Customer Operations working together from signal to resolution

Who should attend

Who should attend

The roundtable is for C-suite and senior leaders at Malaysia's largest banks who own the AI ambition and the accountability for how it runs in production. If you are deciding how far agents should act on your bank's behalf, and who stays in control when they do, this is the room for that discussion. Attendance is by invitation, and you can request one through the form on this page.
